Lock pdf for selection

Question

How can I completely lock the whole pdf so nothing can be selected or is detected for editing? All I want is to be able to type text on top. I've tried flattening it, but it still detects text and bits of the background. I just want to be able to add in more text without the background getting in the way.     catsounds app

Would you mind sharing the steps you took to flatten the PDF file earlier?

Please try to print the PDF to 'Adobe PDF' , go to Print > select 'Adobe PDF' in the printer list dropdown menu, this will flatten the PDF file. Then, using the Edit tool, you can add text to the file as per your requirement. https://adobe.ly/4ldDL6L
