Login required every time

Hi, starting a couple of weeks ago Adobe requires me to login with my password every time I try to either read or create a PDF.  I never had to do that before, it just worked automatically.  How can I return it to its prior state?  This is really annoying.  Thank you.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the login prompt everytime you open the PDF or create PDF.

 

- Have you updated the OS or Adobe Acrobat DC application recently and started experiencing the issue?

- Are you on Mac or Windows machine and what is the version of the OS?

 

Please sign out of the application and reboot the computer once and sign in back and check if that helps.

 

If it still doesn't work, this issue is most often caused by restricted permissions on your computer for the following folders:

  • Adobe PCD
  • SLStore

 

To resolve this issue, follow the instructions for your operating system to set the appropriate permissions for the above folders as described in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/adobe-sign-in-loop.html and see if that helps.
