Lost Edits

I edited a pcf file in acrobat and regularly saved to a hard drive. The last saved version has no edits when the file is opened. Previous versions (given different file names) do have the edits.

What happened to the final edits and can they be recovered?

It was a PDF file, not PCF.

If the edits you make do not appear in the saved file, they cannot be recovered. This happens when the file does not get saved or the application abruptly closes. Please ensure that you save the changes and then close the application.
