Lost form data after editing PDF in Acrobat

Hi, hoping someone can advise.

I’ve been filling in a 76 page PDF in Acrobat for a few weeks and saved it regularly. Yesterday I used the trim/delete pages option to shorten it so I could send part of it to my tutor. After saving, all of the text I’d entered into the form fields has disappeared. The questions and layout are still there, but everything I typed is now blank.

Acrobat now shows a few copies of the file, all the same length and all blank, and I can’t see any older versions in recent files. I’ve tried looking for a way to restore it but haven’t had any luck so far.

Is there anything I can do to recover the form data, or does trimming pages in Reader permanently clear it once it’s saved?

Thanks.

@Emerson_Rafferty9784 trimming the pages does not necessarily clear form data from the remaining pages. However, if you used a specific "Save As" or "Reduce File Size" command during that process, it may have flattened the fields or encountered a save error.

Try looking in the temp folder to see if there are any previous versions here?
