Lots of bugginess in current version?

Question

I'm having lots of small issues - for example, having to click on editing items two or three times to get them to work, or, as in this example, two selections being active at the same time:

I'm also having trouble here and there getting the markup cursor in the right place, e.g. between a period and a superscript character.

Anything I should try to get these things in order?

@turner111 I don't experience the same issues as you, so I would check for any updates (Help > Check for Updates). Double check you have the enough space on your computer and look display and graphic settings. Next, I would reset my Acrobat Preferences. It should clear out any corrupted settings or temporary files that might be causing the program to misbehave. Close Adobe Acrobat completely. Go the preferences folder on your computer. Rename the Preferences folder to something like Preferences-old. For me I normally do a complete restart of the computer and reopen Acrobat. The program will automatically create a new, clean preferences folder. If it works, go ahead and delete that 'Preferences-old' folder....
