Lots of wasted time installing on Citrix VDA
To enable Adobe Pro for our users connecting through Citrix we installed on our provisioned VDA (Citrix Xenapp 7.15).
Installation was uneventful.
Everything looked fine in our initial tests. First logon also functions OK.
However: When users logged on again they were met with an EULA and a logon box. Every single time they now logged on again.
Adobe have published specific directions on how to configure Adobe Pro in a Citrix Environment to avoid this. But it didn't work.
Our solution was to republish the XML-file every single time a user logs on. This procedure to do this 'reset' is also described by Adobe in the same publication. We used injection of a command in the RUN-section of the registry of the default user.
Our problem seem to be a consequence of enabling Citrix Folder Redirection with some folders intentionally left behind (deleted).
If this situation pertains to your environment, you may find the information useful.
