Mac Ventura, can't update Acrobat 2020, crashes

I have a perpetual license for 2020 through my nonprofit. The updater doesn't work, and all attempts to download and install updates manually fail; either they can't select the Acrobat to update, or it just quits with "Update failed." I've tried deleting and reinstalling. Not sure where to go from here.
