I cannot figure out why when I make the fillable PDF on my PC the mac users have such a hard time opening it or trying to type into it.  It is only with the mac users.  Please advise. Is there a button I need to click to make my fillable PDFs mac compaitable?

The simple truth is that the MacOS Preview application does not even begin to be fully-compliant with the PDF specification and very often fails to properly handle PDF forms and/or corrupts such PDF files. There is absolutely nothing that Adobe can do about this. Have your MacOS PDF file recipients install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on their systems.

Do I need to tell them to do that?  What if they do not have that?  It seems that most of our mac users (the parents) don't have it on their phones or their computers, unless they are opening it at work where it already exists.
