Make PDF output folder always current folder?

Windows 10, Acrobat DC. In Adobe PDF Printing Preferences, under Adobe PDF settings there is a box for Adobe PDF output folder. How do I enter something like "%CD%" into it? Or is there another way to make the PDF Maker understand to use as Output folder the directory I use the context menu Convert to Adobe PDF in?

Shouldn't this be default behaviour anyway?
