Manually certifying public key with PDF

I would like to ensure the public key hosted at my software's website is valid against the documents which are being signed.

Is there a way to certify this process is working accordingly against my software's public key?

Download it on another computer and try to validate the signatures in your file with it in Adobe Reader...
