Manually position objects

How do I manually set the x and y position of an object? I can't get the textboxes to exactly where I want them by clicking and dragging.

Textboxes and images primarily.

There are at least 3 different types of "text boxes" and 2 different types of "images" in PDF files. You need to be more specific than that. But if you're referring to static contents (ie. not form fields or comments), then no, it's not possible to do that.

This is possible in the properties of form fields.
