Question

Many (more then 900) Comments Acrobat Reader, Slow and buggy Acrobat,

Hello,

i use an document with 1000 coments.

The Acrobat is very slow - many steps show the blue ball.

It´s an 2012 imac with 32GB RAM and 10.14.

And second - in this document are 5 comments i can not delelte - i can delete it and in 5 minutes they appear again.

suggstions?

Has Acrobat the abbility to check/repair a pdf document - or is there a other tool to do this?

Hi Achim,

 

Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the trouble.

 

As the application slows down when you open the PDF with multiple comments, please check if the issue occurs with a particular file.

Try opening any alternate file with more comments and see if you experience similar behavior.

You have mentioned that a few comments cannot be deleted from that PDF. Would it be possible to share that PDF with us so we can have a look at it? If you cannot share the file publicly, you may share it via private message. Use the envelope icon provided at the top right corner of this community page. 

Share the Acrobat version number currently in use on your Mac.

it´s the latest acrobat pro dc which i can get over the cloud.

 

can you sent me an sample file with more then 1000 comments so i can check this?
