MAPI logon unsuccessful when using Acrobat PDFMaker to merge and email

Hi all,

 

I'm encountering a roadblock when trying to merge and email using the Acrobat PDFMaker add-in for Word; despite having set my default email client with Acrobat (which is also my computer's default email app), I get the "MAPI logon unsuccessful" message when I attempt to email the merged PDFs. 

 

I see that other people were encountering this issue a few years back - has anyone ever gotten this error and managed to resolve it?

Ensure that you have added your email as the default in the Acrobat preferences. Please refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/45rLN7u

 

If the above steps do not help, please share the following information:

-  Share the steps you take that result in the error message.

- Please confirm if this issue started recently and was working fine before.

- Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine. 

- If you can share the screen recording of the steps you use, it would be helpful.
