First time user of this as I had NO faith that the people I was talking to were genuine tech people.

Kept wanting to do screen share, wanting passwords before I could put acrobat in the bin of my Mac.

Every time I open a PDF the whole thing crashes. Passwords not working properly either.

Are ALL the so called people in techncial support Indians??  I am from australian and the vast majoristy of the scammers here are indians so I have no idea if these people are legit or not.

Is 1800 614 863 a proper phone number or yet anotehr scam??? Every day there are reports on the news of scammers so I am extremly cautious especially with wanting screen sharing and wanting passwords to throw something in the bin!!!!

first time I have used this and no replies.

very frustrating when you can't get replies and you can't get someone on the phone who is not Indian when here in Australia there are constant indian scammers.

I will even pay for someone to help me with this.

I made NO changes to my acrobat at all. I pay $30 per month and I don't know how to use it properly.

All I do is literally open PDF documents,

No one will help unless they want to screen share and want passwords to put the old acrobat applicantion in the bin.

Massive waste of time.

If all you need is to open PDF files then you don't need to pay for anything. Get the free Adobe Reader and you should be able to do just that, without any subscriptions or anything like that: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

If you got the number from Adobe's official chat then it's legit. If not, it's probably a scam. If that's the case, I hope you didn't give them any money, bank/CC info, access to your computer or shared any passwords with them.
