Max File Size or No of pages in a PDF file to split into multiple PDFs

Hi,

I have a use case where a single PDF file could be 16,000 pages and it needs to be split into multiple PDFs with 4 pages each. I've tested with small files using Adobe Acrobat Pro 32bit Organize pages tool -> split pages and it works as expected.

I'm not sure if it works with a file that has around 16,000 pages. I see there's no defined limit anywhere. If there is a limit to the file size or pages, please point me to it.

Thanks

It works, but takes longer to split. I tried a file that has 10,000 pages.

I don't believe there's a defined hard limit on this function, although it's possible it will be too much for Acrobat to be able to handle and the application will get frozen.

Did you try to use it? What were the results?

Yes, splitting a file with 10K pages will take longer than splitting one with 12 pages...
