Question

Maybe a simple question about exporting form answers to prepared doc?

I have a form letter email that I am going to distribute.  A few dates and names will be custom, based on who is sending it and who they are sending it to.  I would like to collect that custom information from each user in a fillable form (maybe a 1st page question and answer) and place it into the body of the form letter and generate a pdf/docx for the user.  I would like to possibly do this all in one document, at one time. I could have 4,000+ users, so do not want to do this manually.  I am a complete Adobe novice and probably not asking the correct questions.  This doable?

I'm not 100% certain I follow, but if I understand you correctly then you can collect the data using the Merge Data Files Into Spreadsheet command in Acrobat and then use a Mail Merge command to generate the new files based on a PDF template and the data you collected.

Mail Merge can be performed using the Acrobat plugin for Word, for example, or using this (paid-for) tool I've developed which also allows you to automatically email the resulting files to the recipients: http://try67.blogspot.com/2011/09/acrobat-mail-merge-and-email.html
