Is there a way to change the precision on the measurement tool?

It is currently set at 0.01", but i'd like to get a more accurate number than that.

Hi,

Version 2019.021.20061

I saved the file as a PDF from Adobe Illustrator.

When you use the measure tool, in Acrobat, There is a small box that appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. it states the Precision in the box. I'm just wondering if there is a way to fine tune the percision so that i can measure more accuratly on a PDF with the measure tool.  It's defaulted to .01" but i've like to measure with a smaller accuracy.

Hi,

  • With your document opened, select the measuring tool

  • Right-click on any empty area of the document and from the context menu select "Change Scale Ratio and Precision"

  • From the next dialogue box that will pop up, select from the pulldown menu the precision that you need from the pre-selected items on that list
