Merging files duping content onto all similar files

I am creating a workbook log using the combine files tool I am putting several sheets of documents, logs and essays the essay portions which are PDFs with text boxes whenever added in overwrite all other essay pages text boxes with the same text so week 1s summary of events is duped onto week 2 3 4 and so on. Is there a way to turn this off or do I need to just submit those files separately?

This happens because there are form fields in the file, and when you merge multiple copies of it they become copies of one another, and therefore will have the same value.

To solve it you can either merge the files as a Portfolio or flatten all the files (converting the form fields to static text) before merging them.
