Misalignment of numbers and text after converting from Word to pdf

I saved my Word document as a pdf and now all of the list numbers in the Word document are no longer aligned with the text. They now align with the figures in the document. I save documents to pdf ALL the time, and this has never happened before. Why is this happening?

I went to File, Save As, and then selected pdf from my drop-down choices. This is the way I have been doing it for years, and I've never had this issue before.

File Save As involves purly Word functionnalities. In no way Adobe has their hands on this. You should ask your question in a Microsoft forum. Sorry about that, but that is the best advice I can give.

(FYI: I would answer your question if I had one, regardless if that concerns an Adobe product or not. And Most of the users of this forum would do the same. But unfortuneately, I do not have the slightest clue.)
