Missing text below images after export from Word to PDF with PDFMaker

Hi!

I'm exporting a Wordfile to a PDF with PDFMaker. It is necessary to use PDFMaker as I have to work with accessibility in the PDF.

After the export some text is missing below some images, not all. This happens often. Why is this happening? Has anyone been through this and been able to solve it?

Sometimes it helps to make an paragraph between the image and the descripstion (the text which disappears) and sometimes it does not. When it helps it can also cause the same problems with the text below another image. I've tride to clean the images in case they are cropped, but it does not help. Se attached images. I am using Word365 and Adobe Acrobat DC ver. 2021.011.20039.

    Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

     

    Is this an issue with a particular Word file or with all the files? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

     

    Please try to create to create the PDF from the Acrobat DC File menu > Create > PDF from file and check if its working fine. You may also try to print the word file to Adobe PDF and check if that works for you.

     

    Also, go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/how-to/create-pdf-files-word-excel-website.html for more information about creating PDF from MS office.

     

    Also please check for any missing/pending updates for MS office and try updating it.

    Thanks for your answer.

     

    This is not an issue with a particular Word file, it occurs with different Word files and also for my colleague. I have tried the suggestions you gave me, creating a pdf from Acrobat DC File menu, but there was no change in the result, the same problem occured, same text is still missing. I always create the pdf from Word and from the Acrobat plug in menu, (PDFMaker) and the result is still the same - the text is missing. I have read and created a pdf from the help page, but still, same result, the text is missing. I then changed the compability to the latest, Acrobat 8.0 (PDF 1.7), but that did not help. 

    Printing the word file to a pdf printer makes the text visible but then I get no tag structure. The tag structure is necessary becaus the pdf have to be accessible with screen readers.

     

    I'm using Microsoft 365 applications for business and have the lates version.

     

    Can the problem be due to the capacity of my computer?
