Modern Adobe Acrobat in 2025 – A Refined Standard for Digital Document Workflows

I’ve been using it extensively this year, and it’s clear Adobe has invested heavily in streamlining the UI, enhancing performance, and integrating AI-powered tools. Tasks like editing, signing, converting, and organizing PDFs feel much faster and more intuitive than before.

The redesigned interface in modern Acrobat is cleaner and far more user-friendly, especially for professionals handling high volumes of documents. Features like cloud sync, smart form detection, and OCR are not only more reliable, but also noticeably quicker.

That said, with so many new competitors offering lightweight PDF solutions  some even free  I’m curious to hear from others:

Is the modern Acrobat still your go-to in 2025, or have you made the switch to another tool?

Hi there

I found that the downsides of constant interjections from 'AI Assistance' were so bad that I had no opportunity to explore any improvements which might have been made to the interface. Turned off 'Modern Acrobat' as soon as I found out that doing so would rid me of the 'AI' "features". I was seriously considering a switch to another solution before I found that I could switch it off.
