Move contents of a page

In effect, I want to ‘grab’ all the contents of a page--text, pics, etc--and move it to the right or left 1/4”, without changing font size, text box size, etc whatsoever.  Just move it all as one big mass, so that after it’s moved, it still looks exactly like it did, just located 1/4” away.  It was suggested in another (now disappeared) post that I use the crop function, but that changes the page size, which I want to stay the same. Is there any way to move the margin over 1/4” or------???  Is it seriously just impossible to do this simple action in Acrobat??

@Laravich I thought I could do this in the Print Production, but, I couldn’t tell if it moved or not… so I switched gears, and it took me seconds…

If you have a couple of pages, this works quickly. If not, then you may want to try the Print production way. I do the quick and dirty method. First, I would turn the rulers on, Command R (MAC) or Control R (PC), and measure that 1/4” away and drag a guideline from the ruler. Next, you need to get into the PDF, Edit PDF tool, select all, Command A for the Mac or Control A for the PC. A blue bounding box around all of the elements will be selected. To move everything together, hover your mouse over the edge of one of these boxes until the cursor turns into a four-way arrow, then hold the Shift key while dragging to maintain a perfectly straight horizontal (or vertical) line to that guideline. You can simply use the Arrow Keys on your keyboard to nudge the entire selection into its new position.

When done, click on close and re-save with a different name just in case you need to re-open the original file for whatever reason.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I don’t know if you’ve ever been an answer to prayer before, but you are now.

I’ve asked all over the internet for the past few days and even Adobe employees couldn’t give me a satisfactory answer.  This worked perfectly!!  I didn’t have to use the rulers or guideline, just selected ‘all’ and then nudged everything over (in a straight line) using the 4-way arrows. PERFECT.

    THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!
