We purchased a new conputer at our church and I need to moved Abcrobat XI standard from the old one to the new one.  I believe I need to unregister on the old on and register on the new one, but I cannot find the serial number anywhere! Is there some wat I can lookup the seriel number from within the product?  Or can I move some "registration" files from the old to the new?

I also found out that Acrobat XI is unsupported as of May 2017 so am I better off buying a new license for some version?

Thanks!Q

You need to deactivate the application, not unregister it. This can be done via the Help menu.

The serial number should be available in your Adobe account, if you registered the product.

And yes, Acrobat XI is outdated and becoming more and more incompatible with the current operating systems (on Windows, on Mac it's already completely incompatible), so getting a new license is probably a good idea.

Thanks - Yes, deactivate, not de-register.
Unfortunately I cannot find where we registered it in an Adobe account so I
think we'll be buying a new license.

When you log into Adobe (https://www.adobe.com/) as you have for this forum, you should see a Manage your account link (https://account.adobe.com/). From there you can click Plans, then My products. That shows what you have registered.
