Moving stamp immediately after adding adds a comment pop-up

While working with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (version 2015.017.20050), I tend to add a stamp and immediately adjust its position to avoid any overlap issues. However, this frequently causes a pink comment box to appear on the right side of the screen. To continue with my workflow, I have to click the little 'x' in order to continue. This has gotten tedious and has been adding a fair bit of time to get through some of my tasks.

I believe the issue is that DC is recognizing the add-then-move action as a double-click on the stamp. Is it possible to disable this feature of adding a comment when double clicking on a stamp?
