MUST STOP: Frequent Prompts to Sign In the Desktop App to just view a file

I use Adobe Acrobat sparingly to sign PDF docs or view them. Lately, the app has been asking me to log in every time I open a doc (which is roughly once/twice a week). This is rediculous, time consuming and odderly annoying. I get why, if I'm gonna digitally sign a doc, I have to be signed in. But I don't get why just reviewing a document requires a sign in! As well, why does it require a constant log in from the same machine every week!

Moving forward, I'm gonna stop using the entire Adobe ecosystem and use the alternatives where I can. DONE DONE DONE

Thanks Adobe for years of annoying your users to pay/sign in.

For those interested in making something else as their default PDF viewer in Mac (suggest Preview):

How to make Preview default on Mac
  1. Click on the Finder icon in the Dock and open a new window.
  2. Navigate to any PDF file.
  3. Select the file and click Command-I or Control-click on it and select Get Info.
  4. In the Get Info window, click on the menu under Open With and select Preview.
  5. Click the Change All button.
