Question

My default view (page width) is not retained when I use bookmark links

This has never been a problem until the past week, so I wonder if some kind of update with Adobe DC is the reason.

When I use the available bookmarks to navigate a very large PDF, the page view always changes back to view the whole page, which is too small for me and not what my preferences are set to and not what my settings are set to from the last page I'm on. Why is it changing the Zoom of the page when I move to a different part of the document? This doesn't happen when I scroll. Only when I use the bookmark links. It's really annoying and slowing me down a lot! I have to reset my view each time I land on a section I want to skim/read.  If this is a bug in a recent update, please fix it. If there is a setting in preferences that I'm not aware of, please tell me. There are too many settings to look for.

Thank you!

Change the properties of the bookmarks.

I would appreciate some instructions for how to do that. I have looked for something like that, suspecting that as a possible cause, but could not find the right thing. Also, is this a suggestion or something that you are pretty certain will do the trick? Just curious. Also, didn't happen on all documents, so now I think it might be a property of the PDF I was viewing. If that is so, is it possible to override document settings that the author may have set?
