My edits and highlights are missing

You need to make sue when you do the edits or highlights that you are properly saving before closing the document. To ensure your work is saved, always make sure to explicitly use "File > Save" or "File > Save As" after making annotations, rather than just relying on auto-save or closing the document. If you're using cloud storage like Adobe Document Cloud, OneDrive, or Dropbox, verify your internet connection is stable and the file is fully synced before closing.
