My mac OS14.5 don't recognize the scanner Brother MFC-J470DW

I've been using a Brother MFC-J470DW to print and scann for many years.
Since I downloaded the last OS to my mac (14.5), my mac can't connect to the scanner.
I get the following error message:
The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957394.) (-9902)
Is there any way to fix it so I can keep using the scanner?

If you've had your scanner/printer for many years, you probably have not updated the drivers in many years. I just did a quick (10 seconds) search and found this link for your scanner/driver to update the drivers so you're computer can talk with your Brother.

One of the common problems with updating a computer's software is that all of your peripherals will probably need new software as well.

Please let us know if this solves your problem,
