My PDF is locked, I did not lock and don't have a password

Hello,

In the same hour, I downloaded two of my Amex billing statements which automatically downloaded as PDFs. I edited one and tried to open the second and was notified it was "secured" and required a password that I did not set. I repeated the download multiple times, closed and reopened Adobe and still cannot access it.
