Need to Drag and Drop from a Portfolio to a Desktop Folder

Acrobat Premium for Enterprise

Adobe Acrobat 26.001.21563 (64 bit)

 

I’ve read I should be able to drag and drop selected .PDFs out of an Acrobat Portfolio and into a folder on my desktop.  However, when I try to drag the selected files to the desktop folder, the icon changes into the circle with a diagonal line through it, and I cannot move files from the Acrobat Porfolio to the desktop folder.

 

Can anyone help?
