Last month my PC crashed an I got a new one. Used the same SSD. So I didn´t need a new installation of my old Creative Suite.

But now I have to enter my serial nummer each time I start an creative suite programme. It is acceptet und the programm runs normally. But it doesn´t remember the serial number.

This is quite annoying!!! Any tips or advices?

++ Adding to the discussion,

Since you've installed the same SSD in  new hardware,  it is possible that that when  the CC suite attempts to run an activation check for your current subscription it may detect it as if it is used in more than one computer device concurrently; in which case, in order to use that subscription in another computer you must sign off from one computer and sign in in the other computer.

If that would be your case, go online and sign in with your AdobeID at :

Verify in that page that you don't have more than one computer device listed as active.

If you do have more than one computer device listed as active, remove/delete the old computer device and only leave active the computer that you're currently using.

What's the actual Acrobat version? Like 10.1.33 or 11.3.07? Details are important.

What version of Acrobat are you using? What's your OS version?

Hi Tinae

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described you get prompted for the serial number each time you open the Acrobat application.

Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/kb/acrobat-dc-prompts-for-a-serial-number.html and see if that works for you as well.

Regards
