Need to reinstall Acrobat 7 Pro, and need challenge code

Need to reinstall Acrobat Pro upgrade on machine that we had to replace hardware, the CD is the upgrade to the old Ver 4, however the Ver 4 disk is missing so we need to contact Adobe to get a response to a challenge code during install,  The supplied phone number in the challenge rings constantly busy, is there an alternative phone number or solution.  Not interested in an upgrade for this machine just need to install it to get some files fixed off an old drive.

Acrobat 7 dates back to 2004.  It is likely not going to work with a modern operating system, or other programs such as Word, Excel, etc.  I would highly recommend that you upgrade to the current Acrobat Pro DC version if possible.  The reasons for doing so are numerous, in my opinion.

Thanks, I'm aware of it's age, the issue is the machine its going back on with a replaced hard drive is running Win7

and won't be upgraded, it's doesn't access the internet and is lightly used, not interested in paying for upgraded software especially

a monthly subscription for a lightly used machine that sees maybe 2 to 4 PDF documents that need acrobat a month.

 

As to the previous request I don't see anything at the link you proved for that, unless you too are suggesting to subscribe to the DC

monthly service...
