Need to reset activations for Adobe Acrobat X – old computer no longer available

Hi,

I’m trying to install and activate Adobe Acrobat X on my current Windows computer, but I get the following messages during setup:
“Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed.”
and later:
“Your license allows activation on 2 computers only.”

I believe this is because I previously had Acrobat X installed on my old laptop, which I no longer use.
I have already uninstalled the program there, but I can’t deactivate it since the computer is no longer available.

I contacted Adobe Support by phone, but they told me that support for Acrobat X has ended and that they are no longer able to reset activations for this product.

Could someone here please help me reset the activations for my Acrobat X license, or advise if there is any other way to activate it on my new computer?

Product: Adobe Acrobat X (Student and teacher edition)
Serial number: Available upon request

Thank you very much for your help and understanding!

Best regards,

Dennis

Adobe are faking the to many activations to prevent loyal customers from using their bought and paid for products. Thy have also removed the possibility to deactivate thru your account and the only solution they are willing to give is that you should buy a monthly subscription. This is a big scam from Adobe to make money off people who have paid for producta and dont need their monthly subscriptions. A truely dispicable move from Adobe.
