New Acrobat Pro 2020 on MacBook. SW locks when I save

I have Acrobat Pro 2020 on my MacBook with latest OS. Whenever I try and save a file, sw locks. With any new document I receive, make a change or sign, when I go ot save, the system spins and never saves the document

    Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the application locks when you try to save the document.

     

    Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer first and try again.

     

    Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

     

    Also please try the following preference settings and see if that helps. Go to Adobe Acrobat > Preferences > General > Uncheck  'Show online storage when opening files' and 'Show online storage when saving files' > Click OK
