1. Preserve Table Semantics in Source

• Ensure the table is not grouped with graphic elements (e.g., background shapes or overlays).

• Avoid combining table content with a vector/image shape for the border.

• If using InDesign, do not convert the table to a graphic frame or use live effects on the frame that contains the table.

2. Post-Export Fix in Acrobat (if small volume)

• Open the Tags panel in Acrobat Pro.

• Right-click the <Figure> tag and choose “Change Tag to Table”.

• Manually create <TR>, <TH>, <TD> structure if needed.

2. What is the source format of the file, and how was that converted to PDF(need to know exact workflow)?
