New version of Adobe is changing documents

Question

I pay a lot of money for my 6 employees to have Adobe.
It keeps crashing.  
It also is changing documents after they are merged.
Why is the newer version worse than the old?
How do I get the money back for this product that my company is losing because of all the errors the new version is creating.  
Can someone recommend a different program that isn't as awful as this?

Let's get to the basics. By saying you have Adobe, I suppose you mean Acrobat.

What is your Acobat version (exact version number please), your OS and version (exact version number please).

What operation gets performed before Acrobat crashes?

What documents get changed after they got merged? Merging changes documents by definition.
