Not able to change text in pdf

Hi everyone,

I usually change texts in pdf (for example, if there is a mistake on a date) for my work.

Since few days ago, I can't. It's like Acrobat doesn't recognize text anymore and consider it like pictures (I have to use Illustrator to modificate it). The only update since was on LibreOffice, but I don't understand why it could influence it.

Thanks for helping.

A common thing that happens is that one's default PDF program gets bumped from Acrobat to Reader.  It's happened to me.  Both programs look very similar, and one can be in Reader without realizing it.  Check to be sure that you are using Acrobat Pro to open & attempt to edit your PDF.

My best,

Dave

@try67, if it was a picture, he couldn't fix it in Illustrator.

@9336281, what version of Acrobat are you using (and what release)? (Also, to complete the picture (no pun intended) what is your OS (and what release)?

Maybe it is a picture... How are you creating the files?
