Not able to open acrobat DC

Acrobat stopped working, and starting from the program list also does not work. I uninstalled and installed the licenced version three times. After a while, an error message appeared stating, 'A running instance of Acrobat caused an error.' I have attached a screenshot. I have a Creative Cloud All Apps plan licenced.
