Not Responding When Inserting Pages

Question

I have a file in the 24,000KB rage that I need to insert pages to, I have tried inserting pages from a file, copying and pasting the pages and also combining files and adobe constantly says not responding. All of the files are mine, none have signatures or anything that would preclude them from being edited like that as I have historically had no issues creating files like this. Even letting it sit for 20-30 minutes it never comes back from not responding and I end up having to quit the program. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit, I did disable the new version and it still is happening.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with combining files on Acrobat.

Do you see this with every file you work with? Are the files located on the local hard disk, a network drive, or cloud storage? The location of the files could play a vital role in understanding.

Also, please help us gather logs from your machine: https://adobe.ly/4l1gBRA. Please make sure Procmon is selected. You can upload logs using this tool and share your Unique log ID with us.

Ensure that you are on the latest version of Acrobat (2025.001.20458) for the best experience.

To do so, go to Menu> Help-> Check for Updates.
