Number Formatting of multiple Fields

When creating a fillable form in Acrobat DC, how can I edit the number formatting in multiple fields at once? I only see that option for formatting when a single is selected.

There's no built-in way of doing it.

You can do it using a script, though, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Apply Format to Multiple Text Fields

There isn't a built-in way to do this, but you can format a single field, right click, and then select "Create mutiple copies". That will retain the formatting from the original field. I agree with other comments, it's pretty frustrating (and tedious) that there isn't an easier way to make bulk adjustments.

Being a adobe community professional, do you know why this functionality is missing? Clearly it is possible to do given that other people have created scripts to achieve the same thing. What is so vital to the functioning of the program that it must prevent the user from selecting multiple fields and amending their format simulatenously?

We don't work for Adobe and can't know why they decide to implement (or not to implement) any features in their applications. I would dare say that most Adobe employees can't answer that question, either.

Another way is to create one field, to set its format, then to use : right-clic : Create multiple copies

I don't think that works. The format reverts to "none" for the copied fields when I do it. Did you test this method? It's pretty ridiculous that this time saving and simple method is no longer available. So frustrating and mind dumbing that adobe are making us do repetative and boring tasks. Isn't that what computers were invented for?
