Objects editing in Illustrator change position

Using Acrobat V 2024.002.20687 / Illustrator 28.3

Since having this Versions there's a problem with the positions after I edit objects out of a PDF with Illustrator.

After saving (only changing colors - not deleting anything, not undoing cutting mask nor change sizes or something like that), their position in the PDF changes.

Whats the cause of this?! I'm literally lost if this function does not work right anymore...

Illustrator is not a PDF editor and should not be used for this. Acrobat is not an Illustrator file editor, and should not be used for editing Illustrator files.

I know, this sounds confusing, but Illustrator uses a file structure that is different from a pure PDF file. Editing the file in the wrong editor will change the structure and the data, and this in some cases even if you only open the file and save it again.

Thank you, for your opinion on that. I see, you're a photographer. OK.
I work with Acrobat and Illustrator since 20 years now in PrePress and even had a 4 year apprenticeship on that. It has always worked very well - until now. So I do not properly agree with your answer.
