OCR - Correct recognized text - how to review recognized text that is NOT text? It's part of a diagram. It's not text.

I am trying to correct recognized text as part of this scanned PDF. The “correct recognized text” function has indicated a series of dots as grammar, when it is in fact shading done in a diagram image. When I try to clear the field, it won’t let me accept. There is no box saying “not text” This is 26.1

Sorry for the trouble you had.Could you please share more details about the issue?Are you on a Mac or Windows machine, and what is the version?What is the version of Acrobat installed? Check for Menu > Help > About Adobe Acrobat.Are you on the new interface or classic? (Is "Disable new Acrobat" present in your Menu?)Which OCR output style did you use, Searchable Image, Searchable Image (Exact), or Editable Text & Images?After you Disable new Acrobat and reopen Correct recognized text, does clearing the field now show "This is not text"?Is the accept control greyed out, or is it just that no "not text" option appears? (Those are two different problems.)Suggestions: All tools > Scan & OCR > Recognize Text > In this file > Settings, and set PDF Output Style to "Searchable Image (Exact)."That keeps your original page image exactly (including the diagram shading) and only adds an invisible text layer over it, so shading is never converted into recognized characters and will not be flagged as a suspect. Thanks for this! The issues were in fact due to new Acrobat. After I disabled it and converted to “searchable image (exact)” I was able to have a “this is not text” option via clearing the space and hitting accept. Prior, I was unable to clear the space and hit accept, it was grayed out and there was not a checkbox anywhere to remove the text box.
