OCR function has changed?

Hi, I have been using Acrobat Pro for a long time and about 2 or 3 years ago, I use the OCR feature to make text in my AutoCad drawings searchable. Those PDF files were always smaller in size than the original file, but I recently changed computers and with the new Acrobat Pro I ha, sometimes the files PDF after running OCR are much larger size than the original. Why is this happening? Is there any setting I need to make?
