hello

I have an action wizard that make OCR with a PDF.  Everything seem OK but when I open the file, I've got an error message: "The font ''* Time new roman BOLD contains bad /Widths".

Is there any way I can skip this alert or fix this problem.

Hi StephanieDeguire,

As you get the error " The font contains bad/widths", it seems to be the font-specific issue.

Try once to recreate PDF using the Adobe PDF maker.

Open the PDF in Acrobat and go to File > Print.

Select Adobe PDF from the printer list and click on Print.

Check if that helps.

Also, refer this forum thread with the similar issue 'Font contains bad/Widths' and 'Cannot find/create font' errors when saving pdf as Other > Reduced Size PDF and check if any of the steps help in resolving the issue.

Is it possible for you to share the PDF? We would like to check it on our end.

You can share the PDF using the steps mentioned here How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud.

If you wish to share the file in a private message, use the steps provided here How Do I Send Private Message.

Let us know if you need help.

the problem occurs when text recognition is done. the PDF file is a scan (image) and does not contain FONT at starting.

I send you the file.

thanx!
