Hello,

I am a student , new to Acrobat OCR.  I like to use Acrobat Pro DC for my school project. I run into an issue and I would like to ask your helps.

I want to figure out if Adobe Acrobat pro could give me the text of the image which I scanned in PDF. For example, I have an image of the new paper in pdf that I attached below , and I want to get the text out of it. I tried Acrobat pro Tools , and I did not see any of the recognize text under Tool. What I saw were : Create edit, review approve, form signature, protect standardize, and customize. Was I in a wrong version of PDF Acrobat Pro , or Do I need another Acrobat Pro OCR version ?

Thanks!!

Look in the HELP menu for the first ABOUT line. What does it say? For example it might say "About Acrobat Pro 2015" or "About Adobe Acrobat Elements" or all sorts of things.
