OCR Scanning Does not Work

I try to scan and recognise text on my document and it is not permitted. 

Furthermore, when I come to close Acrobat half an hour later it will not allow me to close Acrobat with the error message "This operation is not allowed, since scanning is in progress".  Even though it said scanning was not permitted.  

I can only force Acrobat to close from the Task Manager,

 

PLEASE FIX THIS BUG

하위 버전에서는 잘 되나 최신 버전에선 되지 않음. 하위 버전이 깔린 컴퓨터로 가서 작업함. 너무나 불편함. 수정 바람.

I have the same problem. It would be really nice to have a progress bar aswell, so you would be able to see IF the program is actually working.
I have the newest version of the program, have the newest version of windows and it still won't run OCR, it just sits there and if i close the program I get the same pop-up as you.
