Older Version of Acrobat X Pro

I have an older version of Acrobat X Pro. I have a security key/ serial number for the software. I had to uninstall Acrobat but when I reinstalled the software it didn't ask for my serial number. It installed but as soon as it's opened, it immediately closes. How can I successfully install my old version of Acrobat X Pro? I no longer have the disks. They are in storage.
