Online acrobat convert to pdf - photo image quality is too low.

Could you please share more details about the issue?

Are you converting an image file, such as JPG/PNG/HEIC/TIFF, or are you converting a PowerPoint file to PDF?

On the Mac, are you using PowerPoint's Acrobat ribbon/add-in, Acrobat desktop > File > Create > PDF from file, or Acrobat on the web?

What are your Acrobat version/build, macOS version, and PowerPoint version?

For the Acrobat online converter, in Acrobat on the web, go to Convert > Convert to PDF, choose the appropriate conversion tool, select the file, and continue; the file is converted and saved to Adobe Cloud storage. Please note that Acrobat preserves the original image quality and dimensions during default JPG-to-PDF conversion unless compression is requested. So if the PDF is visibly lower quality than the original image and you did not use a compression step, I’d suggest testing the same file in the desktop app and checking the quality.

If you have Acrobat Pro and need control over image compression/downsampling after the PDF is created, use PDF Optimizer:

1. Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro.

2. Choose File > Save as Other > Optimized PDF on macOS.

3. In the Optimized PDF dialog, adjust the relevant panels, especially Images
