Only certain documents will print

Only certain documents will print to an HP283 LaserJet.    I have updated the Mac OS, printer drivers and firmware, and uninstalled and reinstalled my printer on my Mac and I have uninstalled and resinstalled Adobe on my Mac and updated the version.    For the documents I cannot print, I share them with other people in the office and they can print the document on the same printer with no issue.   I do not have this issue in other applications.    Any suggestions?
