Only part of PDF file can be viewed

When downloading some PDF files from internet, only the first page will download, and the remainder are blank. It does not happen all of the time, but is regular occurrence. I thought it was due to me having an older version Adobe Standard, so I updated to DC Pro, but that did nothing to fix problem. Any suggestions?

It's possible the files themselves are corrupt. If you can share a file

with us (via Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Cloud, etc.) we could confirm

that.
